Pale Green Bathrooms

Bathrooms can be the perfect spot to add some variety into a design – whether that be a new material or a playful pop of colour. Might we suggest pale green?

Bathrooms can be the perfect spot to have some fun with a design, whether that be trying out a new material or adding in a playful pop of colour – like pale green, for example. These NTS-featured homes show off the merits of going viridescent.

Going Viridescent

Bathrooms, often tucked away from the rest of the home, are ripe for experimentation. Gone are the days when bathrooms were merely functional; today, the bathroom can be whatever you want it to be – whether that be peaceful or playful. A mundane bathroom can become a pièce de resistance with little more than stand-out material or hue. These NTS-featured homes flex that muscle by going viridescent (a fancy word for “greenish”).

Pale green makes sense for a bathroom. It can be soothing and refreshing or more stimulating, depending on the tint or shade. Pale green can be an ideal choice for infusing bathrooms with a sense of tranquillity and serenity for how it evokes memories of lush forests and landscapes. The colour also has something of a timeless appeal and blends rather effortlessly with various design styles ranging from modern minimalist to rustic chic.

In these NTS-featured homes, the designers and architects have integrated the hue into various elements of the bathroom, from paint and tiles to shower tubs and accessories. For some, it is the only place green appears in the home, while for others the pale green echoes in other accents throughout the home like a kitchen shelf. No matter their style, they prove that interesting design need not stop at the bathroom door.
