Hidden on the top floor attic space of a historical 19th-century Milanese building is the aptly named Chambre de Bonne (maid’s room in French), designed by nonestudio. Every millimetre in this tiny 14sqm/150sqft studio has been meticulously designed with comfort and function in mind.
Inspired by the designs of yachts, nonestudio created a seamless and versatile interior by using a single continuous wooden lining throughout the apartment with various built-in heights, volumes and cleverly connected surfaces to create defined, dedicated and flexible/multi-functional living spaces.
