The partnership was founded in 2018 by Mike Shaw and John Proctor. Our team balances creative energy and aspirational thinking with a pragmatic approach, grounded in a wealth of industry wide professional experience. We guide our clients on a design journey that culminates in tailor-made solutions uniquely focused to meet their specific needs and aspirations.

The studio has received numerous awards for their work, notably an RIBA London Award and Dezeen award for our innovative Shoji Apartment project in 2023. The directors, John and Mike, each have over 20 years of professional experience working for award-winning UK practices. Both have lectured and tutored in several Universities throughout the UK.
