From the very beginning, therefore, the idea behind the studio is to understand the architect as a craftsman who designs in order to realise and, by doing so manually, learns to design.

The studio took shape definitively in 2016, choosing to maintain its own workshop, so as to integrate the design phase to that of prototyping and construction.

In moving from the field of architectural planning to design and graphics, the studio applies the tools of its training as architects, applying to unconventionally architectural disciplines a design method proper to doing architecture, understanding these disciplines as an integral part of the craft. In these terms, graphics is understood as the construction of images and design as the reduction to scale of architecture.
